[Summer Skater]

This game is pretty boring, I think I fell asleep soon after pressing start, there is not really much to do here and the graphics aren't all that great. The long board things are also a bit of a pain to avoid because they don't appear until they are really close to you, it's also only one level, there is no replay value, unless you really want to get on the high score list.

If you could even customise what you looked like, that would be an improvement, but there is just nothing there, there is no real animation when you hit something, even the little additions could make this game a little more intresting but there is just nothing here, the intro also takes far too long with nothing to look at.

Sorry but this was just boring.

Firstly, I found the title to be misleading, I was expecting something that would represent the .hack// series in some way, although the description gives a better understanding of what this game is about, first impressions and the name of you flash are quite important in this regard.

The game itself is nothing special in my personally opinion, I have played games similar in nature, but it functions as it should and I have no major problems with the game mechanics as they work, the design is pretty nice and things are very clear. If you are going to have a tutorial as just text though and not a specific level, I would just have a "how to play" option on the main menu rather than have it as ingame text.

Anyway, overall I would say it's a decent game but it doesn't add anything new to territory control games.

[Shoot for Gold]

It's Okay

This game is okay, but not much more, I thought the graphics where pretty decent and what animation there was seems pretty good, gameplay was basic and some parts seemed more like luck than skill, such as if you aren't careful, you hover over the wrong thing by a slip. A much better way would be to actually have you shoot the person rather than hover over them.

As for the gold element, it was okay collecting it and the gold mine map was pretty nice but when it came out of enemies, it was pretty hard to catch, even when I was sure I clicked it, it didn't register, this was a bit annoying, maybe some other mechanic could have been done collection wise.

The music was pretty good, maybe some sound effects when you actually killed someone though rather than just a shot. But overall, it wasn't a bad game but I didn't think it was anything amazing in my opinion.

[nail jesus to the cross!!]

Hmm, Alright

I can deal with this, it's pretty amusing for a while, although I'm not too good at aiming, it gets easier with practice. But I would have liked to see it start off maybe at a still point and then start moving as you got some hits in. Not sure what was with the whole "Hit Points" thing, it's far too hard for me to get passed that point, goes up a little too fast for me.

Graphics wise, it's pretty simple and nothing too amazing here, but the voice acting is good and so is the sound, everything else seems to work as it should too. A simple and small game that can be fun if you have the patiants to get the hang of the timing with throwing the nails, but pretty good anyway.

[Zipzip: Secret Dimension.]

It's pretty cool

I do like this game, it's pretty fun and it builds up fairly slowly so you get to learn the controls at a nice even pace, although the text could be improved by being faster to load or some sort of confirmation before moving onto the next stage because I feel I missed a lot of the story that was put into this game.

The puzzles do get quite complicated later on and I usually end up giving up after a while of trying, but regadless of that, I managed to get some of them done and the challenge was fun, not something tedious as some games make it. The art could be improved a little, I mean as it is, it is pretty nice but I think improvements could be made there still.

But overall, I say this is a pretty fun game, good work and I look forward to seeing other games made by you.

I tried to keep puzzles easy and simple, but developers always see their puzzles easier than they seem to players I guess :)

Pretty

The game is very colourful and certainly very pretty as well and it's good that it gets harder each time but as is the case with these games, I can't relax properly when the game gets harder, it just makes it tedious for me. I had a good go at it and it was pretty fun for a while and intresting to see how the courses changed each time with passing animations as well.

The sound effects are good and the music is very soothing, it's all very fitting, I would say this is very well put together, it's very hard to find a flaw in this game, the only thing I don't like about it is that I don't believe I can fully enjoy it, that's not to say it isn't a good game though, so well done on this!

[My Favorite reviews (BB)]

Very Bad

This is poor on so many levels, it's very basic for a start, the buttons for the menu aren't very well lined up and therefor, looks sloppy. It's good how you have attempted to use Newgrounds graphics in with this but that's the only thing good about this, they have been streched badly. The next/back buttons move about, they should remain in the same place for this to look decent.

It's nothing special either, I don't see why anyone should care about your favourite reviews or even why you like/dislike them, there's nothing even fantastic about the flash itself, it's very basic actionscript, the music isn't really a good choice and thankfully, doesn't play when the flash is loaded, maybe you intended it to play but it doesn't, I had to manually start it in order to hear it.

The real killer here, as I mentioned, is the look of it, text is random sizes, buttons all over the place, images streched and so forth, you really need to work on this.

[The Abusive Review Quiz]

mmm, alright

It's a good attempt but there's a problem with some of the answers, I'll go into those in a moment, firstly I want to say that while graphically it's not great, it does do the job and fits in well with the Newgrounds theme, the music is an okay choice and the ability to mute is nice, the reveresed flash image at the top is not a good look though, no need to have it reveresed, it just looks silly.

To be a helpful flash, it should give the user feedback about the review, stating why it is helpful/useless/abusive, sure it might defeat the point at the end but that shouldn't really matter if your attempt is to educate.

Now, onto the problems with the questions, I'll only do the ones that seem wrong.

1: This is a code for a game, you're right in it not being abusive but helpful/useless should be down to the person putting it in, so both helpful/useless should be right.

16: "u sux/u emo" or something along those lines is what it is, you've got useless down as the right answer but it should be abusive because it's directing an insult at the author and saying nothing about the flash.

18: Same as 1

There are 1 or 2 others that seem borderline but really, useless/helpful is down the the readers own judgment more than anything else.

There is also a bug at the end where after you click continue, it just repeats the score and nothing happens, so to play again, you have to refresh, making it very akward to replay.

Good effort.

Thank you for the review, Little-Rena. I agree with you in the part of the graphics. I suck a lot in those so I decided to go with the NG Elements.

I was going to put at first the reasons why some are abusive and others are not, but I just didn't have the time for that since I got a lot of problems with the codes. But your totally right on that as well.

From my experience some mods have told me that "u sux/u emo" and "this flash sux" are useless reviews while others have told me that they are in fact abusive. I decided to make the useless button right in case it really happens in NG and you get your whistle downgraded because of that.

Can you PM me about the bug please? I have submitted a newer version, but I don't know if it has been fixed.

[BLAM! MiniGame]

Good Times

I still enjoy playing this game, I am still not very good at it though, once it gets to the higher speeds, I just start messing up, it would have been nice to gain power ups like instant detection for x seconds or extra chances. Still I like to look at the old icons and remember how I climbed through them, I reached Sup. Commander before the redisign, so I got each of the icons in here, so I play just for the sake of remembering.

On this I've never gotten past Praporshchik, the first gold one I believe and that was a while ago, mostly through luck and guessing because of the speed. The game is relitivly fun, dispite being so simple and early on, the blam animation is great, reminds me of the one played when you got the blam. So yes, good times where had here, nice sounds, gameplay and graphics :)

[Reimagine :The Game:]

Frustrating

The previous versions of this I enjoyed because there was little effort involved making them somewhat fun to play, while challenge is good, it's a little unexpected in this series of flash I personally feel anyway although it is nice to have the skip option, it feels a bit cheap to use in order to progress.

There is also a bug on the Lost:the game level where if you are black smoke and go into a red laser, there is a chance that it will just loop the explosion meaning that reseting the game is needed.

The graphics are good and the sound is too, nothing to fault there, I like the overall design and some of the levels I do like, it just overall feels a little too diffrent to the originals, like there is more emphasis on doing things to progress rather than just being silly and that's what I liked, but that aside, it is still good.
